YES!!! We want your story (fiction, essay, documentary aka creative non-fiction, poem), we want your image (artwork, photo, photo essay, graphic story, comic, cartoon)—SUBMIT TO US!!

HERE'S THE PLAN

Send us ONE story, poem, or image at a time. Send us the one you think will WOW us!!

In the email subject heading write STORY SUBMISSION or POEM SUBMISSION or IMAGE SUBMISSION.

Give us two words!! This sorts you out from the spam. (It shows that you read our guidelines this far too!!)

TALK IT UP!!

EXCITE US with a blurb that tells us what your work is about.

We want to know who you are. Write a few lines telling us about yourself and your work.

We will look at a submission that you are sending to other publishers as well as us but tell us this is what you're doing, and let us know if the work is accepted for publication by someone else.

ATTACH IT

Attach your story or your poem in rich text format (.rtf) plain text (.txt) or Microsoft Word (.doc). Attach your image as a jpg file (.jpg). Make the image maximum quality with a long dimension of about 1000 pixels.

AND THEN WHAT??

Send us only ONE SUBMISSION, right?? Wait until we accept or reject before you send us anything else. We will respond in up to six months.

The rejection (BRACE YOURSELF!!) will be the  same standard copy-and-paste note whether you missed out by a breath or sent us trash. We don’t comment, give reasons, or make suggestions. BUT we do invite you to submit again.

If you didn't bother with our submission guidelines your email may be trashed with all the other spam and you may not hear back from us.

We may modify these guidelines from time to time so check them out each time you submit.

SMALL PRINT

Submissions must be your own work and previously unpublished. Unpublished means not published in print or online in any way whatsoever, period.

Payment is a full-colour Digital Edition, and we also offer the cheapest possible cost price on the Print Edition (B&W).

The magazine is copyright but the rights to all contributions remain with the owners.
